Great iPad bag! May 12, 2010 Samer A (Texas,USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Finally a man bag I can justify carrying. I've been looking for something to carry around my iPad and any accessories I need for it, and researched all kinds of bags on the internet for a while. I looked at custom made ones, which are typically outrageously expensive, and then decided to search for netbook bags. I came upon these series of bags, and settled upon the midsize one, instead of the smaller or larger bag. Glad I picked this one!
SIZE
Its size is pretty much perfect for the iPad. I keep mine jacketed in the Apple case, which adds a little bulk to it, and it still fits snuggly inside. It feels very secure, and I feel like it's protected from any kind of physical damage. I do have to sometimes pull the zippers over the iPad, but once they are in place, it zips up without any issue at all.
STORAGE
As far as carrying other items go, it will easily store all/any cables you need to take along with you, the Apple Camera Connection kit, and it will even (mostly) fit the Wireless Apple Keyboard. Using one of the other pockets (either the zippered one) or the outside pocket that doesn't zip up, you can easily slip the keyboard in and it is mostly covered. You cannot zip up the pocket, as it still juts out a bit, but it's certainly a solution if you aren't worried about tossing the bag somewhere and having the keyboard slide out. (For example, if you're just using it to carry it on you from point A to B, as a messenger bag, then it works great.) I also like that one of the outer pockets has a little magnet on it, that keeps it shut. It's not a full seal though, so if you put something small in there, don't expect it to stay inside.
COMFORT
Its comfort is fine, I have been using it mostly between home and coffee shops / other locations, and never felt like it was annoying or heavy to carry around. The bag itself is practically weightless, without anything in it.
OTHER THOUGHTS
This is a great alternative to carrying a larger messenger bag, carrying a full laptop bag, or spending a fortune on a custom iPad bag. I love that I can toss what I need it, and throw it into the back of my car, and be on my way, without much thought. Also, if you're a guy and worried about carrying around what resembles a man-purse, I wouldn't worry too much. It goes well with just about any outfit, and looks like a small laptop bag.
IN SUMMARY
If you're in the market for an iPad bag, give this one a try. I think you'll love all the space for accessories, cables, cleaning cloths, etc, without having to carry around a giant bag. (The iPad, after all, isn't a large laptop, which is what makes matching it with a small bag so appealing.)
perfect for 10" netbook like samsung nc10 March 14, 2009 Tw Cook (Texas) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I was looking for a case for my Samsung NC10 laptop which wouldn't give up the portability but that would still look reasonably conservative (no garish colors and weird shapes). This case fits the bill very well; the NC10 fits comfortably and is well protected. There's room for the charger, mouse, an ethernet and usb cable, a small notebook, a few papers, my PDA, a paperback, and a few assorted other things - everything I really need to carry most of the time. The whole package is refreshingly light, and given that it is so light, the thin strap and "sling" form factor work very well and it's comfortable to carry even for extended periods. I'm very happy with it.
Perfect case for the 9-10" notebooks December 20, 2008 Warren James (Atlantic Beach, FL) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We recently purchased a Dell Mini-9 9" laptop/mini computer, and wanted a good case to protect it and make it easily transportable. There aren't many out, and while this case was a little pricey, the price, as it has been said- is forgotten long after the quality is remembered. It's a perfect size for these computers, has a pocket for accessories (wireless mouse) and the strap is perfect in execution. I simply love this case! NO regrets.
Just the right size for a netbook December 22, 2008 Troy Packrat (Nebraska) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I had been looking something to carry around my new Dell Mini 9 netbook, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It has just the right amount of space to carry my Mini 9, my Kindle, my iPod and my DS. It has plenty of pockets for accessories and paperwork. The front pocket is held closed with magnets; this means you can have papers sticking out and the magnets will still hold onto them.
Perfect case for my HP Mini 5101 September 14, 2009 D. Buhler (Abbotsford, BC, Canada) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The case looks great. It's not dark black, so it doesn't show dust as easily.
It fits my HP Mini 5101 perfectly even though it's a bit longer than most netbooks due to the nearly full-size keyboard.
There is enough room to comfortably hold my second phone & bluetooth mouse. Easy access pockets for passports and other travel documents.
Stuffing my AC adapter and power cables in the front pocket has worked for now, but I'd like to find a smaller AC adapter to use. You can't pack EVERYTHING in it, but I'll be getting rid of my full-sized notebook case.
